Job Summary Arrowhead Meat Co. LLC, is seeking a dependable, hardworking Animal Harvester / Meat Processor to join our team. This position primarily works on the harvest floor and plays an important role in the humane harvesting and processing of livestock. Responsibilities include assisting with moving livestock into the harvest area, humane dispatch, skinning, trimming, splitting carcasses, and preparing carcasses for proper cleaning and cooling. This position may also assist with other meat-processing duties as needed. Responsibilities

• Assist with safely moving and handling livestock
• Perform or assist with humane livestock harvesting
• Skin, trim, and prepare carcasses for processing
• Assist with splitting and proper handling of carcasses
• Maintain proper sanitation and food-safety procedures
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
• Follow all company, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Work efficiently as part of a team
• Assist in other processing areas as needed Qualifications
• Meat processing, livestock, agricultural, or harvest-floor experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• Comfortable working around livestock and raw meat
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and repetitive tasks
• Able to safely use knives, saws, and other processing equipment
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and quality Experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are most important.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
