Preschool Playground & Transition Attendant Part Time - East Setauket Monday-Friday | 9:30am-3pm| $20.75/hr Paid school breaks & holidays! We have a unique opportunity for a Preschool Playground and Transition Attendant to be responsible for the oversight of the school playground as well as assisting students and staff in the playground and other areas. You will also assist in student transitions Specifically, you will: Assist students with transitions to-and-from the classrooms to services, the playground and restrooms. Attend outside recess and engage in play with students. Assist in classroom. Ensure accurate headcount of students when entering & exiting the playgrounds We require High School Diploma. Computer literacy. Organized, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills . Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, bend, kneel and physically exert.
