In person No Driver's License Required | Paid Training Provided Make a Difference in a Student's Day ABC Transit Inc. is seeking caring, patient, and dependable Bus/Van Monitors to help students travel safely to and from school. As a monitor, you'll work alongside the driver to create a safe, calm, and positive environment on the bus or van. This is a meaningful part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a schedule that follows the school calendar. No professional experience or driver's license is required. We'll provide the training you need to succeed. What You'll Do Welcome students and help them board and exit the bus or van safely. Support the driver in maintaining a safe, respectful, and orderly environment. Assist students with special needs according to their individual requirements. Make sure seat belts and safety restraints are properly secured when applicable. Observe student behavior and respond calmly to concerns. Communicate important student information to the driver. Promptly report incidents, behavioral concerns, or safety issues. Follow company policies, school district guidelines, and established safety procedures. What We're Looking For A caring, patient, and dependable attitude. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to remain calm and helpful in unexpected or stressful situations. Experience working with children is helpful but not required. The ability to successfully complete required criminal background checks, child abuse clearances, and pre-employment drug testing. A commitment to student safety and respectful teamwork. Schedule Part-time, Monday through Friday. Morning and afternoon shifts that align with school schedules.
