Quail Creek is seeking an enthusiastic and customer service oriented individual to join our team as a Part Time Fitness Specialist. We are looking for someone interested in the gym, sports, and other physical activities to help 55+ adults in our Fitness Center. Wednesday to Friday 12pm to 7pm

PURPOSE OF POSITION /SUMMARY

This position is responsible for monitoring member and guest use of the Sports Club/fitness center and ensure compliance with approved rules, regulations, and safety guidelines. Will offer tips and assistance on use of the various equipment in the fitness center. Performs other related duties as assigned.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Routinely walk through the Sports Club/fitness center complex to ensure that all areas are clean and systems are operating properly, report maintenance and safety issues per guidelines, and perform basic housekeeping functions as needed. Routinely return equipment which may include: weights, benches, bar bells, kettle balls, and floor mats. Offer assistance and troubleshooting to members regarding the various equipment Miscellaneous Job Tasks - Wash, dry and fold towel; open and close the facility based on established procedures. Understand, monitor and enforce all approved rules and regulations for the Sports Club facility, Tennis Courts and Outdoor Pools.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/COMPUTER/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

General fitness and gym knowledge needed. Personal Training background preferred, but not required General First Aid knowledge (CPR) Personal training certification preferred General knowledge of fitness equipment specifically Lifetime Fitness equipment; including technical knowledge such as Bluetooth setup and QR codes Quail Creek, located in the Green Valley area in the Town of Sahuarita, is a master planned active adult community for the 55+ population with more than 2,500 homes. Employees work at many of the amenities serving the residents of the community. These amenities include championship golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, creative arts studios and a clubhouse, a recently renovated Grille, a library and fitness center.
