The primary role of the Activities Assistant position is to plan, coordinate and implement engaging, entertaining, and therapeutic activity programs to meet the residents' needs. Development and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors. Essential Duties (include but are not limited to): Delivery of Services and Programs for Resident Activities Resident/Family/Client/Guest/Staff Relations Activity Planning Regulatory Compliance Volunteer Management in absence of
Supervisor Qualifications:
Ability to demonstrate respect for and patience with retirement-age residents, and desire to enhance residents' lives Focused attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple items/tasks, prioritize as required, and adapt favorably to changing priorities Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal direction in English Please note: This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
