Job Description

Fitness & Gymnastics Supervisor Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District | Fraser, Colorado Full-time, year-round | Exempt Hiring range: $60,000-$67,000 annually Fraser Valley Metropolitan Recreation District is looking for a Fitness & Gymnastics Supervisor to lead fitness, wellness, climbing wall, and gymnastics programs at the Grand Park Community Recreation Center. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing programs, supporting staff, and connecting with the people who use our facility. The supervisor works closely with members, guests, and community partners to create safe, welcoming experiences and help our programs grow. What you'll do Plan, coordinate, and evaluate fitness, wellness, climbing wall, and gymnastics programs. Supervise, schedule, train, and support staff, instructors, and personal trainers. Maintain a visible presence in program areas, assist participants, and respond to questions and concerns. Monitor program spaces and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and maintenance needs. Work with District staff and community partners to promote programs and identify new opportunities. Assist with program budgets, purchasing, and planning. What we're looking for At least three years of experience in fitness, wellness, recreation programming, or a related field. A current certification from a nationally recognized fitness organization, such as ACSM, ACE, or NASM. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. A high school diploma or GED. A degree in exercise science, fitness, recreation, or a related field and prior supervisory experience are preferred. CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, or the ability to obtain them within 30 days of hire. This position may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on program and facility needs. Full job description on the FVMRD website. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
