Job Description

Westminster Oaks is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to assist in planning, developing and directing the overall operation of the activities department in accordance with regulatory guidelines and our established policies and procedures and assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet the level of interests and abilities of each resident. Implement and conduct programs as assigned by the Activities Director, encouraging residents to attend. Includes setup prior to and clean-up after completion of activities. Leads and assists resident groups on community outings. Conducts one-on-one activities with those residents requiring them. Completes documentation such as Assessments and Daily Attendance Sheets. Purchase and organize decoration and supplies for daily and holiday activities. Assist with decorating Health Center common areas. The position will have a fixed schedule as follows:
Tuesdays:
12:00 PM•8:00
PM Thursdays:
12:00 PM•8:00 PM Every other weekend:
Saturday:
9:00 AM•5:00
PM Sunday:
9:00 AM•5:00
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM•5:00
PM Sunday:
