Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Pickleball Director to lead our vibrant pickleball program and foster a fun, inclusive environment for players of all skill levels. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, organize tournaments and clinics, and promote a love for the sport within our community. Your leadership will inspire participants, ensure safety protocols are followed, and elevate the overall experience for members and guests alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow the sport of pickleball while making a positive impact on our community. Duties Plan, coordinate, and execute pickleball leagues, clinics, tournaments, and special events to engage players of all ages and abilities Supervise court scheduling, maintenance, and safety procedures to ensure a clean and secure environment Provide coaching and instruction to individuals and groups, emphasizing proper techniques and sportsmanship Foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with players, addressing questions, and promoting community involvement Enforce facility rules, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures including AED operation and first aid response Collaborate with other sports program staff to integrate pickleball activities into broader recreational offerings Maintain accurate records of program participation, event outcomes, and safety incidents Requirements Previous experience working with children in sports or recreational settings is highly preferred Knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and tournament organization is essential Strong communication skills to effectively interact with participants of all ages and skill levels Experience in sports coaching or team leadership roles such as soccer coaching or sports-specific training instruction Certifications in first aid, CPR (including AED operation), or related health safety training required or obtainable upon hire Ability to demonstrate excellent behavior management skills in dynamic environments Experience working with diverse populations including those with special needs or requiring additional support is a plus Join us as a Pickleball Director and be part of a lively team dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and community spirit through the exciting sport of pickleball!
