Full Job Description Activities Assistant Location:
South Bend, IN, 46615 Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team in South Bend, IN. The ideal candidate will support the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote social, physical, and mental well-being for our residents. Responsibilities Assist in organizing and leading recreational and social activities for residents. Support the Activities Coordinator in developing activity schedules and materials. Encourage resident participation and foster a positive, inclusive environment. Help set up and clean up activity areas before and after events. Monitor residents during activities to ensure safety and engagement. Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Qualifications Previous experience as an Activities Assistant or in a similar role preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with diverse populations. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
