As a Fitness Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include making sure all fitness areas are up to standards. Weights are sorted, equipment is straightened up, and assisting members. This role requires you to be friendly to members whether spotting on a lift or providing directions to a class.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Rerack weights Spotting members Knowledge of all machines Making sure cleaning bottles and paper towels are filled for members to use Clean gym facility and equipment Clean, dry, fold and store towels for the fitness area as well as the fitness desk. Walk through locker rooms and make sure they are kept nice and clean Report any broken equipment, dispensers or lighting to Facilities Manager Ability to follow written and oral directions and work independently Sweeping and mopping fitness center Team player with a friendly, positive attitude Perks!

General gym experience preferred CPR/First Aid certification required. Detail oriented Works well with other staff members of the JCC using positive and effective interpersonal communication skills.
