Job Description

ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT

Blaire House of Tewksbury is a 131-bed skilled nursing center. We have been family owned and operated, servicing the health care needs of seniors for 50 years. We specialize in Short Term Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, Sub-acute Care, and Alzheimer's Specialty Care. Our campus also hosts an Assisted Living Facility and Senior Transportation.

Job Summary:

Assists in planning and carrying out recreational programs, group activities, special entertainment, special holiday events and religious activities. Document activity participation in electronic record. Works scheduled days, including rotating weekends. Early evening and holiday obligations.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

High School education or equivalent.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Two years of experience working in a recreational program and dementia training preferred but not necessary.

Hourly Rate:

$17.00
