This rewarding part-time opportunity (2 days per week) is perfect for someone passionate about senior care, activities coordination, and making a meaningful difference in residents' lives.

Schedule & Benefits Part-Time Position:

What We're Looking For Required Experience:

Previous experience working with seniors and elderly residents Hands-on experience with dementia care and memory support Background in activities department or recreational therapy Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Dynamic Activities:

Facilitate engaging programs for independent living, assisted living, and memory care residents

Creative Program Development:

Brainstorm and implement innovative activities aligned with wellness dimensions

Resident Assessment:

Evaluate new resident interests and customize programs to individual needs

Safety Management:

Maintain safe, clean, organized activity environments with proper setup/cleanup

Documentation & Tracking:

Record resident participation, interests, and program effectiveness

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with LEAP Director, Exercise Physiologists, and multidisciplinary care team

Relationship Building:

Develop meaningful connections with residents through excellent communication skills

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives
