Job Description

Make Every Day Meaningful Bethel Communities is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative professional to help enrich the lives of older adults. In this role, you will create engaging programs and experiences that promote connection, wellness, purpose, and joy for residents across two of our communities. Responsibilities Plan and lead recreational, educational, wellness, and social programs. Encourage resident participation and build meaningful relationships. Coordinate events, outings, celebrations, and special activities. Support new residents as they transition into community life. Collaborate with residents, families, and team members to create engaging opportunities. Document participation and assist with program evaluation. Help foster a culture of inclusion, dignity, and belonging. Ensure activities are conducted safely and in accordance with community policies. Qualifications NCCAP Certification or degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, Social Work, or related field preferred. Experience working with older adults, including individuals living with dementia, required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Creative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. Basic computer skills required. Valid driver's license required. Ability to work one weekend day and occasional holidays.
