POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Activities Aide is to assist residents who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight with Activities, both internal and external, and all other duties as assigned. This can include transporting residents to events in the community as well. Must be polite and respectful, responsive to resident needs and requests at all times. Must be able to work effectively with all types of people and be teamoriented. Must be able to read and write. Must be able to handle loads, up to 40 pounds. Must have a valid and unencumbered NYS Driver License. All applicants must successfully pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
