We provide FREE after-school programs for girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade. At Girls Inc., we create a girls-only environment that is physically and emotionally safe, where every girl experiences a sisterhood of support, high expectations, and mutual respect. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate individuals to join our after-school team for the 2026-2027 school year.
Troy Program Staff Location:
65 1st Street (Russell Sage Campus) Troy, NY 12180
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Hours:
16 hours per week
Position Type:
Part-Time Position Responsibilities Program Staff are responsible for planning, facilitating, and evaluating engaging, age-appropriate after-school programming.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and leading activities in STEM, Life Skills, Leadership & Community Action, Sports & Adventure, Computers, and Health & Wellness. Supervising homework help and academic support. Assisting with snack distribution. Planning and supervising structured recreation and free-time activities. Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive environment where every girl can thrive. Building positive relationships with participants while serving as a strong role model. Qualifications Associate degree (A.A.S.) preferred. Experience working with children or youth preferred. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation (required for the Schenectady position). Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
