As Needed Pay:

$12/hour Join Genacross Lutheran Services as an Activity Aide where you'll help residents stay active, engaged, and connected through meaningful activities, social events, and recreational programs. From group games and crafts to special events and one-on-one visits, you'll play an important role in making each day enjoyable and fulfilling for our residents. What You'll Do as an

Activity Aide:

Plan and lead engaging activities such as games, crafts, music, social events, and recreational programs. Encourage resident participation in activities that promote social connections, creativity, and overall well-being. Build meaningful relationships with residents through group activities and individual visits. Assist with special events and outings, helping residents enjoy new experiences and stay connected to their community. Collaborate with team members and families to create a welcoming, enjoyable environment for residents. Support daily activity operations, including preparing supplies, maintaining schedules, and documenting participation. Help maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment while following resident care and confidentiality guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

Must be at least 18 years old. Friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with older adults. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Creative, organized, and comfortable engaging with individuals and groups. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn required software. Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and respond to residents' needs. No specific degree or previous healthcare experience required!
