Day Support Activities - Direct Support Professional (DSP) Corvallis, Oregon | Part-Time with Opportunity to Grow $25.00/hour Opportunity for Raises Paid Training at Your Regular Wage Flexible Scheduling Health Insurance (30+ Hours/Week) 401(k) with Company Match and PTO. Position Summary North Star Oregon is seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing Day Support Activities (DSA) team. This part-time position offers the opportunity to grow into full-time employment based on employee availability and service needs. As a DSA DSP, you will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through meaningful community-based activities that promote independence, confidence, socialization, skill development, and community inclusion. Every day is different and may include parks, hiking, bowling, museums, volunteer opportunities, fitness activities, local events, arts and crafts, shopping, or other individualized activities based on each person's interests and goals. Promote independence, inclusion, and person-centered supports. Assist with communication, money management, and daily living skill development. Transport individuals safely to community activities. Complete required electronic documentation. Follow individual support plans and agency policies. Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Qualifications & Requirements At least 18 years old Legally authorized to work in the United States Pass an ODHS-approved background check Valid driver's license with a safe driving record Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and documentation Physically able to participate in community activities and provide support as needed CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain through North Star Oregon which we provide at no cost. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in community settings and may include driving, walking, standing, hiking, lifting, and participating in recreational activities in various weather conditions. Requirements:
Qualifications - Required Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a criminal background check (per Oregon DHS standards). Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills. Physical ability to assist with mobility, transport, and adaptive supports as needed.
