Butler Ambulance is hiring a Full-Time Paramedic Assistant Supervisor . We respond to approximately 10,000 emergency calls per year from 3 stations, covering 180 sq miles, utilizing 10 ALS ambulances and 1 Paramedic response vehicle. In addition, BAS also performs emergency and non-emergency transportation for area facilities. We are located in Butler County (Western PA) approx. 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Brief job description:

Assist the Supervisor in managing and directing a variety of operational functions which involve the supervision of Paramedics, AEMTs, EMTs, and Wheelchair Van Drivers during their daily responsibilities. They will be required to monitor and enforce all policies and procedures and serve in a positive leadership/mentorship role to our providers. In the absence of the Supervisor, the Assistant Supervisor will "step-up" to oversee the daily operation of the company. The Assistant Supervisor is required to act in the best interest of Butler Ambulance Service at all times. This position will rotate in both 6a and 6p shifts with assigned Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Paramedic (in good standing) and currently on orders. 2 years of experience preferred
• Full-time Status (upon taking the position)
• Eligible for Preceptor and Field Trainer status

Full-time:

Averages 42 hrs/week.
