Job Summary:
As the Team Coordinator, you will lead the daily operations of our swim shop, ensuring a high level of customer service, effective team management, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, maintaining inventory standards, and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers, providing knowledgeable assistance and resolving any issues that may arise.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and develop retail staff to create a motivated and high-performing team. Schedule shifts, manage payroll, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Sales Management:
Drive sales performance by setting and achieving store revenue targets. Analyze sales reports to identify trends and implement strategies for growth.
Inventory Control:
Manage inventory levels, including purchasing, stocking, and merchandising strategies. Monitor product performance and optimize product assortments based on sales data.
Store Operations:
Oversee daily store operations, including cleanliness, safety standards, and visual merchandising. Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Marketing Initiatives:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products and store events. Participate in community outreach and customer engagement initiatives.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage the store budget, controlling expenses and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
Experience:
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, preferably in sports or swim-related industries.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with swimming, swim gear, and aquatic activities is highly desirable.
Skills:
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Basic math skills for transaction processing Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Availability:
