Responsibilities include:
Assist the Activities Director in planning, organizing, and implementing daily activity programs. Lead and facilitate individual and group activities that encourage resident participation and engagement. Help coordinate special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings. Encourage and assist residents in participating in recreational activities based on their interests and abilities. Document resident participation, attendance, and activity refusals accurately. Assist with resident care planning by providing observations related to activity participation. Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and program areas in a clean and organized manner. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members while promoting a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, senior living, or customer service preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills, including email Reliable attendance and punctuality Compassionate, enthusiastic, and patient-centered attitude Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Hiring Requirements Ability to pass a background check Ability to pass a drug screening Work Setting Skilled Nursing Facility Long-Term Care Rehabilitation Center Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 7.0 - 15.0 per week
