We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Activities Assistant to join our dynamic team in Winchester, TN. About the
Role:
We are looking for an Activities Assistant to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational activities for our residents. As an Activities Assistant, you will work closely with our Activities Director to develop and lead activities that promote socialization, recreation, and overall well-being. Your primary responsibility will be to create a fun and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical, mental, and emotional health.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and implementation of activities, such as games, exercises, and entertainment programs Lead activities and provide support to residents as needed Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff Assist with preparing and distributing activity schedules and flyers Maintain accurate records and reports of activity participation and resident feedback Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new activities and programs
Requirements:
0 years of experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed Maintain confidentiality and respect for resident privacy and dignity
