Duties Supervise and engage dogs during playtime, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that promotes healthy social interactions Monitor animal behavior closely, recognizing signs of stress or aggression and implementing appropriate restraint or calming techniques Maintain cleanliness of the facility by sanitizing cabins, play areas, and equipment to uphold pet care facility standards Support pet boarding services by providing attentive care and ensuring animals' comfort and safety Perform animal restraint using humane techniques during activities such as grooming or health checks Qualifications Prior kennel technician or doggie daycamp experience is highly desirable, along with pet sitting or veterinary technician experience Knowledge of dog breeds, animal behavior, and animal handling techniques is essential for success in this role Experience in pet grooming, animal restraint, and pet care facility sanitization will set you apart Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely through team lifting practices and perform active duties involving heavy lifting Passion for animals combined with excellent observation skills to monitor behavioral cues and ensure safety Final hourly wage dependant on experience.
