$92,858 - 104,452 annually, DOQ The City of Covington is seeking a responsible and trustworthy individual that would be responsible for ensuring the design, development, implementation, coordination, promotion, evaluation, and supervision of daily programs and operations of the city's athletic programs. They would manage day-to-day athletics operations and staff, volunteers, and contractors. Must be able to effectively manage a high-paced environment and effectively manage a sizeable workload while maintaining a professional demeaner. This position is FLSA exempt and may require work that falls outside of the normal work schedule.
Education and Experience :
Minimum Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Parks and Recreation Administration or a closely related field, five (5) or more years of relative full-time work experience related to athletics including two (2) or more years of direct supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that would provide evidence of the skills, knowledge and abilities required to perform the job functions.
Preferred Criteria:
(In addition to Minimum Criteria) At least three (3) years working for a municipality. Experience with administrating recreation software and facility and athletic leagues scheduling.
