This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining beverage and customer-service standards, monitoring inventory and supplies, assisting customers, and helping ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout each shift. The ideal candidate has strong communication and leadership skills and is comfortable working in a busy café environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily café operations and customer-service activities. Coordinate staff assignments and workflow throughout each shift. Support, guide, and communicate with baristas and café team members. Monitor beverage quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, and customer-service standards. Assist with employee training, onboarding, and day-to-day coaching. Handle routine customer questions, requests, and service concerns professionally. Monitor coffee, food, packaging, and café supply levels. Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and restocking café supplies. Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked café areas. Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists. Help maintain efficient customer and order flow during busy service periods. Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to management. Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures. Qualifications Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience. Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or café management experience is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills. Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility. Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced café environment. Good attention to beverage quality, cleanliness, and service details. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures, and café operations is helpful. Able to train, support, and work effectively with a café team.
