ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Assist department manager with supervision of front of house staff Be accountable for labor and cost of goods Assist with monthly inventory Assist employees with overall food preparation and customer service Provide on the job training Assist with management of daily operations Perform scheduling duties and guest relations Oversee building safety issues, ie: Food safety program, snow clearing, hazmat, repairs and maintenance Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties, as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

One year of restaurant front of house supervisory experience required, two years preferred Must possess good organizational, interpersonal problem-solving leadership and team building skills Adhere to all safety policies Intermediate skiing/riding ability required for certain locations Must have a valid driver's license Problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers. Be a consistent role model for company's Service Excellence standards Stand for long periods of time and climb stairs frequently Must have Colorado approved Alcohol Server Training certificate or must attend a Colorado approved alcohol server training educational seminar within 30 days of employment Must have current Food Manager and Allergy training certificate, or must attend Food Manager and Aller-train certification courses for Alterra Mountain company within 14 days of employment

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives.

Steamboat area base salary range:

$57,784 - $58,485 per year This salary range is a projected amount based on 12 months of employment; however, seasonal positions typically span 6 to 8 months. Therefore, you will not receive the full annual salary in this timespan, but rather an amount corresponding to the duration of your employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be at least 18 years of age Lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
