Hey There! We are excited to be hiring for a General Manager position at our Atlantic Beach location. We are looking for someone who in addition to having restaurant management skills and experience, is passionate about healthy food, healthy eating and an active lifestyle. We have been changing what people think about fast food since we opened in 2010 . We serve delicious, healthy food, made from scratch, as fast as possible. We believe in work life balance. We know the hours of a general manager can be crazy and there will be some weeks that are in this position however we want you to know we want you to have a life outside of Homespun. We look to have weekend and night shifts shared between you, our assistant manager and our shift leaders. We also want you to know that we are actively working on expanding. We currently have two locations however we are looking to open more corporate locations and to sell franchises in the near future. Here are some specific details about the position: Job Summary The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in the food service industry, who can motivate staff, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of hospitality experience and managerial skills to help drive our business forward. Responsibilities Lead and manage all operational aspects of the business, including staffing, training, and development using the tools we have developed. Ensure high standards of food quality and service are consistently met. Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures. Oversee inventory management and supply chain operations to ensure optimal stock levels. Foster a positive work environment that encourages team collaboration and growth. Implement training programs for staff to enhance skills in food service, and customer engagement. Utilize Toast POS system for efficient transaction processing and reporting. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and specials that drive business. Skills Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams in the food industry. Proficient in budgeting and financial management practices. Knowledge of food service operations, including bartending skills. Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service. Experience in training development to enhance team performance. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
