This position is responsible for ownership of restaurant operations: marketing strategies, recruiting and training restaurant staff, overseeing food quality, protecting the guest experience, and more. GMs have the following duties and responsibilities: Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation Deliver superior guest services Ensure guest satisfaction Manage guest loyalty programs Participate in Menu Item reviews and offer insights and recommendations Manage the local restaurant marketing strategy Participate at local food and community events Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints Manage and lead staff, from hiring through training, management, performance reviews, and, if necessary, termination Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory Manage restaurant supplies Control costs and minimize waste Nurture a positive environment for employees and guests Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales Be able to lift 50 lbs Some weekend and mixed shift work required
