Rolling Stove & Grill is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to help lead our growing food-truck operation. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, confident leading a team, and experienced in restaurant operations. This is a hands-on management position for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day operation and help us continue growing.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Managing daily restaurant/food-truck operations Leading, training, and holding employees accountable Creating and managing employee schedules Making sure recipes, portions, quality, and presentation are consistent Monitoring food waste, inventory, and food costs Ordering and receiving supplies Maintaining cleanliness and food-safety standards Handling customer concerns professionally Managing busy rushes and keeping the team organized Monitoring employee attendance, performance, and productivity Opening and closing responsibilities Helping identify ways to improve speed, efficiency, and profitability Working closely with the owners to keep the operation running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of restaurant management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Experience managing and training employees Dependable and able to hold others accountable Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of food cost, labor, inventory, and waste Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer programs Must be willing to work hands-on alongside the team when needed Must be able to remain calm and make good decisions during busy periods High integrity and honesty are extremely important to us
The Right Person:
We're not looking for someone who simply wants a management title. We need someone who will take ownership, notice problems before they become bigger problems, and help us build a strong team and operation. You should be comfortable giving employees direction, addressing performance issues, and making sure standards are followed—even when the owners aren't there. Food-truck experience is a plus, but restaurant management experience is more important. Compensation Competitive pay based on experience. Additional opportunities for performance-based bonuses may be available.
