GENERAL MANAGER

X-Golf Walpole | East Walpole, Massachusetts The Opportunity X-Golf Walpole is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead our indoor golf and hospitality operation. This role owns the day-to-day guest experience, team performance, financial discipline, and business growth across simulator play, leagues, memberships, events, and food and beverage. The right candidate is an energetic operator who can lead from the floor, develop a dependable team, build relationships with guests and local partners, and turn great service into repeat business. Golf knowledge is valuable, but strong leadership and hospitality management experience matter most. What You Will Own

• Lead daily facility operations, including opening and closing standards, staffing, reservations, guest flow, cleanliness, and overall readiness.
• Recruit, schedule, train, coach, and hold team members accountable while building a positive, service-focused culture.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and resolve customer concerns promptly, professionally, and fairly.
• Manage restaurant and bar operations, including inventory, ordering, cost controls, product quality, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service.
• Plan and execute leagues, tournaments, corporate outings, parties, and other group events from initial inquiry through follow-up.
• Drive revenue across simulator bookings, memberships, events, leagues, food and beverage, and gift cards through local outreach, promotions, and partnerships.
• Monitor key business results, reconcile point-of-sale activity, maintain accurate payroll and tip records, control expenses, and provide regular reporting to ownership.
• Coordinate marketing across email, social media, in-store promotion, and community relationships to keep X-Golf Walpole visible and active year-round.
• Maintain simulator and facility standards, coordinate repairs and vendor support, and ensure the team can confidently assist guests with the technology.
• Maintain compliance with applicable employment, food-service, alcohol-service, health, safety, and company requirements. What We Are Looking For
• At least three years of management experience in hospitality, entertainment, golf, restaurant/bar, retail, or a similarly guest-focused business.
• Demonstrated success leading hourly employees through hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage operations, inventory controls, and responsible alcohol service.
• Comfort managing budgets, labor, costs, point-of-sale systems, and basic operating reports.
• A track record of excellent customer service and calm, practical problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods.
• Interest in golf and familiarity with golf simulators are helpful, but not required.

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
