Duties Assist in managing all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service. Lead and supervise staff, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance team performance. Oversee employee orientation, interviewing new candidates, and participating in recruiting efforts to build a strong team. Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and ensure accurate cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) system operations. Conduct inventory management activities such as stock replenishment, purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and inventory audits. Support shift management by coordinating schedules, supervising daily activities, and ensuring operational efficiency. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally while fostering positive shopping experiences. Skills Proven experience in management or assistant manager roles with strong leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across various responsibilities such as inventory control, merchandising, and sales management. Proficiency in POS systems, basic math skills for basic math, budgeting, and cash handling procedures. Demonstrated experience in supervising teams within the cafe sales environment with expertise in sales management and customer service excellence. Knowledge of inventory management systems, purchasing processes, pricing strategies, and operational management best practices. Ability to train staff on product knowledge—including tropical smoothie cafe product knowledge—and operational procedures such as cashiering and wireless sales. Skilled in negotiation techniques for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations. Experience with cafe or similar environments is a plus; familiarity with marketing strategies is beneficial.
