Midland, NC Associate Professional (AP) / House Manager Caring Hands Care, LLC is seeking compassionate, organized, and motivated Associate Professionals (APs) to oversee the daily operations of our licensed residential group homes serving individuals with behavioral health and mental health needs.
We are currently hiring for our Marshville, Matthews, Charlotte, and Midland locations. The Associate Professional serves as the on-site House Manager and works closely with the Qualified Professional (QP), Clinical Team, and Executive Director to ensure high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a safe, supportive environment for all residents. Responsibilities Supervise the day-to-day operations of the residential home. Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and supervision to Client Support Coordinators (CSCs). Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with their Person-Centered Plans and treatment goals. Monitor documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and agency standards. Assist with implementing behavior support strategies and crisis intervention when necessary. Ensure medication administration procedures are followed according to agency policy. Maintain compliance with all NC DHHS, Medicaid, and licensing regulations. Conduct staff meetings, training, and ongoing performance coaching. Complete incident reports, shift reports, and other required documentation in a timely manner. Monitor the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the home. Assist with scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage as needed. Communicate effectively with the Qualified Professional (QP), families, guardians, care coordinators, and outside providers. Participate in treatment team meetings and provide updates on resident progress. Foster a positive, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and staff. Be available for occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, criminal justice or a related field preferred. Must meet North Carolina qualifications for an Associate Professional (AP), or possess equivalent education and experience as defined by state regulations. Experience working with individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, or behavioral challenges is preferred. In a level lll facility. Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable. Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during crisis situations. Valid North Carolina driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to successfully pass criminal background checks, drug screening, and all pre-employment requirements.
