Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Catering Manager to lead our food service operations with passion and precision. This is a per diem position, so flexibility and transportation are a requirement. You won't have to serve customers, only prepare and set up. Duties Plan, coordinate, and oversee catering operations for events, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality food presentation Manage food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures in accordance with sanitation standards and regulations Maintain efficient workflow and excellent customer service Monitor inventory levels and control costs to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards Implement kitchen management practices including food handling protocols, sanitation procedures, and safety guidelines Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing, billing, and financial operations management Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to food safety, sanitation procedures, and dietary requirements Experience Proven management experience in food service or hospitality management roles with a focus on catering or banquet services Background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within the food industry Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures Experience managing restaurant or catering operations with a focus on cost control and financial oversight Familiarity with POS systems and managing hospitality or restaurant financial transactions Previous experience in serving or managing large-scale events such as banquets or special functions is highly desirable Leadership skills that motivate teams to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining operational efficiency Join us as a Catering Manager where your culinary expertise combined with your leadership talent will elevate our food service offerings.
