Tailor & the Cook is seeking an experienced and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the team in delivering efficient service and a positive guest experience. This role involves coordinating staff, monitoring service quality, supporting inventory management, maintaining operational standards, and helping ensure smooth workflow across restaurant operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations and service activities. Coordinate staff schedules, assignments, and shift workflow. Support and guide front-of-house and kitchen team members. Monitor food quality, order accuracy, and guest-service standards. Assist with employee onboarding, training, and performance feedback. Address guest concerns and help resolve routine service issues professionally. Monitor food, beverage, and restaurant supply levels. Assist with inventory tracking, ordering, receiving, and stock organization. Support POS operations and established cash-handling procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and work areas. Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to maintain efficient order flow. Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists. Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to restaurant leadership. Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures. Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and daily workflows. Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, food-service, or operations experience. Previous supervisory, management, or team-lead experience is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Dependable, professional, and comfortable taking responsibility. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures, and restaurant operations. Ability to support, train, and motivate team members. Strong attention to guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and service standards. Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house employees.
