Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels. Enforce food safety standards and compliance with health regulations through regular inspections and staff training. Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Assist with budget management, profit and loss analysis, and implementing strategies to maximize restaurant profitability. Requirements Proven experience in full service restaurants and fine dining environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the hospitality or food industry is essential. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, TOAST, and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting. Knowledge of food safety management practices and regulatory compliance standards. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively. Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks including interviewing, staff development, and customer interactions. Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory control, and financial analysis. Experience in managing hospitality teams across casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
