At Slam Dunk Pizza, we're all about Food, Family & Fun! We're looking for a dependable, motivated, hands-on Working Shift Lead to help keep our Willits restaurant running smoothly while creating a great experience for our guests and our team. This isn't a position where you stand back and tell people what to do. Our Shift Leads work right alongside the team, making pizzas, helping guests, preparing food, keeping things clean, and stepping in wherever they're needed. We don't believe in "That's not my job." We believe in teamwork!

YOUR ROLE ON THE TEAM 1.

Lead by Example Work alongside employees in all restaurant departments. Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude. Keep team members focused, productive, and motivated. Assign stations and daily responsibilities. Help train, coach, and support employees. Communicate concerns and shift updates to management. 2. Keep the Restaurant Running Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts. Assist with opening and closing the restaurant. Monitor food quality, order accuracy, and ticket times. Help maintain proper staffing coverage and coordinate employee breaks. Complete shift checklists and assigned operational tasks. Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Handle routine guest concerns and communicate larger issues to management. 3. Jump In Wherever Needed Prepare pizzas, burgers, appetizers, and other menu items. Assist with register operations and guest service. Support the dining room, arcade, and ice cream counter. Help with food preparation, stocking, and cleaning. Assist with birthday parties, special events, and promotions. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant. 4. Take Ownership of Your Shift Help ensure the restaurant is ready for business. Address operational problems promptly. Support company standards and policies. Communicate equipment, staffing, or guest concerns. Complete cash handling and closing responsibilities when authorized. Leave the restaurant organized and ready for the next shift.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

Dependable attendance and punctuality. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced restaurant. Willingness to learn and work in all departments. Good judgment and problem-solving abilities. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Ability to perform essential restaurant duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred:

At least one year of restaurant or food service experience. Previous leadership or training experience. Experience opening or closing a restaurant. California Food Handler Card or qualifying food safety certification.
