Owner / General Manager About the Role We're looking for a dependable, energetic Shift Leader to help lead our team and keep each shift running smoothly. As a locally owned pizzeria, we take pride in serving great food, taking care of our customers, and creating a positive workplace where our team can succeed. The Shift Leader is a hands-on leader who sets the tone for the shift, supports team members, maintains our standards, and helps ensure every customer has a great experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the team during daily shifts. Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service. Help ensure pizzas, food, and beverages are prepared accurately and consistently. Assign tasks and manage shift priorities based on business needs. Train, coach, and encourage team members. Monitor food quality, portioning, presentation, and ticket accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant throughout the shift. Follow and reinforce food safety and sanitation procedures. Handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues professionally. Operate the POS system and accurately handle cash and payments. Help manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and restaurant cleaning. Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock or supply issues to management. Support the team during busy periods and jump in wherever needed. Communicate important information between shifts and with ownership/management. Help create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment. What We're Looking For Previous restaurant, hospitality, or leadership experience preferred. A positive attitude and strong customer-service mindset. Reliable, punctual, and willing to lead by example. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Able to remain calm and professional during busy periods. Comfortable giving direction and holding team members accountable in a respectful way. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of a restaurant position.
