Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Shift Leader at our locally owned and operated smoothie shop in Windsor! This candidate needs to be a great people person with top notch communication skills who loves working in a fast-paced environment, but also knows how to fill slower downtimes. In this role, the candidate will help oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. In addition to all the regular duties of an Inta Juice employee, the Shift Lead will be responsible for many special managerial tasks, such as: product ordering, grocery store shopping, training, deposit handling, inventory management and deep. The Shift Lead will work closely with my wife and I (owners) and other Shift Leads to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently, and will make sure that the staff, inventory, customers and equipment are all well taken care of. Previous restaurant experience is would be great! We are looking at about 25-30 hours a week. Shifts will generally be weekdays but occasionally nights, weekends and holidays will be required. The position pays $15/hr. plus tips, which can be substantial. However, to start the pay may be less while you train and get to the status of Shift Lead. Along with the duties and responsibilities at Inta Juice, we may also ask you to assist us at our other businesses in town, Missy Kay's Sweet Shoppe. This a totally separate, and slower paced job but still very important. With Inta Juice and Missy Kay's, this I somewhat like having 2 jobs, and thus a great way to get more hours if that is what you are looking for. Responsibilities Lead and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer service and create a positive customer experience Oversee food preparation, ensuring all products meet quality standards and safety regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving shipments, and minimizing waste Supervise daily store operations, including shift management, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness standards Train new team members Ensure compliance with food safety regulations Support staff development through ongoing training and initiatives Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and other management duties to optimize store performance Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, restaurant management, or a quick service restaurant environment Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling experience required
