We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager to help lead our team. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager with daily bakery café operations. Lead, coach, and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service. Supervise shifts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Train and onboard new employees while maintaining company standards. Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Manage inventory, place orders, and minimize product waste. Assist with scheduling, labor management, and payroll support. Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly. Open and close the bakery according to company procedures. Support sales growth through excellent service and operational excellence. Qualifications Restaurant, café, bakery, or retail management experience preferred but not needed. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain if required). Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
