Dining Room Supervisor Compensation:
$55,000-$60,000 annually + 5% bonus eligibility
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday Overview We are looking for a passionate and experienced Dining Room Supervisor to lead our senior living campus dining operations. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of food service, ensuring high-quality meals, exceptional customer experience, and efficient kitchen management. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and a dedication to delivering outstanding hospitality in a senior living environment. Strong background in Food as a Chef, Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef would be ideal. Responsibilities Oversee daily dining operations, including outstanding service, and clean-up. Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards. Maintain menus in collaboration with the culinary team, considering residents' nutritional needs and preferences. Assist in the managing of inventory needs for the dining rooms. Ensure the dining areas are clean and well maintained. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate dining services staff including hosts and bartenders. Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs within budget. Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and development. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Maintain accurate records of inventory, staff schedules, and resident dietary preferences. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Manage the dining services budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures under the direction of the Director of Hospitality / Executive Chef. Interact with residents / public to obtain feedback on dining services and address any concerns or actions needed. Organize special events, themed dinners, and holiday meals to enhance resident satisfaction. Ensure excellent customer service is provided to residents and their families. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to food service in a healthcare environment. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in dining services. Perform other duties as assigned. Role Essentials 21 years of age or older, pending specific state requirements. Strong written and oral communication and leadership skills Strong Problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to learn, manage and train site POS system, scheduling system and other basic computer skills required for this role. Prior experience of 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience in managing a dining room and team. Strong teamwork skills. Successful background check and drug screen, state specific. Health screening and TB tests, state specific. ServSafe® Certification. Ability to read, speak, write and comprehend English. The ability to work holiday and weekend rotation shift schedules.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
