Duties Supervise and coordinate restaurant activities during your shift to ensure smooth service flow and high-quality food delivery Lead and motivate team members, providing clear direction, support, and training to uphold service standards Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee consistency, quality, and compliance with safety regulations Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Enforce food safety protocols, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and kitchen cleanliness Assist with staff scheduling, interviewing candidates, and conducting training sessions to foster a skilled team environment Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure positive dining experiences Support management in analyzing profit and loss reports, budgeting efforts, and implementing operational improvements Maintain a vibrant restaurant atmosphere by supervising both front-of-house and kitchen operations during your shift Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Knowledge of inventory control practices, cash handling procedures, and food industry regulations Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage managerial responsibilities like interviewing and training Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for order accuracy, cash handling, and profit analysis Experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality management is essential Join us as a Restaurant Shift Leader where your energy fuels our success!
