What You'll Do As a Deli Shift Leader, you'll help oversee daily deli operations while ensuring food quality, safety, and an outstanding customer experience: Provide friendly, fast, and attentive customer servicePrepare food according to Freshies® recipes and standardsFollow all food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe guidelinesReceive deliveries and verify product quality and freshnessMaintain proper food storage, labeling, and temperature logsTrack spoilage, waste, and daily productionKeep the deli clean, organized, and visually appealingSupport and guide team members during shiftsAssist with scheduling priorities and shift executionMonitor inventory and help order food and suppliesEnsure compliance with all company policies and health regulationsMaintain a safe and positive work environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience in food service, deli, or customer service preferredLeadership or supervisory experience is a plusStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentBasic math and computer skillsReliable attendance and flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays) Training & Certifications ServSafe Food Handler or Food Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain)On-the-job training provided Why Join Freshies?
