Who We Are Looking For:

Team Wellness Center is hiring a Culinary Youth Coach to support daily meal preparation for youth in our Juvenile Restorative Program. Responsibilities include preparing and serving breakfast and lunch, packaging dinner for take-home, managing kitchen cleanliness, shopping for groceries, and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience in food prep, knowledge of health regulations, strong organization and time management skills, and a passion for working with youth in a supportive, healing-centered environment. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 30 lbs are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve daily meals: continental breakfast, hot lunch, and packaged dinners Shop weekly for groceries and kitchen supplies within budget Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and follow food safety standards Accommodate dietary restrictions and promote healthy eating habits Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs Build positive rapport with youth while maintaining professionalism

Qualifications:

Experience in food preparation and kitchen management preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines required Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Passion for youth development in a restorative, healing-centered environment

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
