Whether managing transactions at the POS system or assisting in the kitchen, your proactive attitude will help create a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and team members. Duties Lead and motivate team members during shifts to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions, cash handling, and food service orders accurately. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities and customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation guidelines, including bussing tables, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring proper food handling procedures. Oversee cash register operations, process cash transactions accurately, and reconcile cash at the end of each shift. Support operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety management practices. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards within the food industry. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking across duties like cashiering, food prep, and customer service. Proven skills in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cash handling procedures. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards in a restaurant or café setting. Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in diverse environments such as grocery stores or food establishments. Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 38.0 per week
