As part of the Delamar Hotel Collection, the Exeter Inn offers a unique opportunity to bring fresh ideas, elevate the guest experience, and build upon the character and charm of a historic New England property. The renovation of this amazing property has begun and this is your chance to make a meaningful impact, lead with creativity, and help establish the next chapter of our food and beverage program. We are seeking a dynamic hospitality leader to oversee all food and beverage operations, including restaurant service, bar operations, banquets, catering, and special events. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspires their team, and understands how to balance exceptional service with strong financial performance.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable guest experience. Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and hospitality. Partner with the culinary team to create compelling menus, innovative dining experiences, and seasonal offerings. Drive restaurant, bar, banquet, and catering revenue through creative programming and strategic initiatives. Oversee budgeting, labor management, inventory, purchasing, cost controls, and overall departmental profitability. Establish and maintain service standards, operating procedures, and training programs. Collaborate with hotel leadership, sales, and culinary teams to maximize opportunities for events, group business, and local partnerships. Build relationships within the Exeter community and position the property as a destination for dining, celebrations, and special events. Bring fresh ideas and an entrepreneurial mindset to the continued growth and evolution of the property.

Qualifications:

Previous leadership experience in food and beverage management within a hotel, resort, upscale restaurant, or comparable hospitality environment. A proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams while maintaining high service standards. Strong business acumen, including experience with budgets, labor controls, cost management, and revenue growth. A passion for food, beverage, service, and creating memorable guest experiences. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A hands-on leadership style with the flexibility to support operations when needed.
