Closing Shift Lead Bayberry | Wolfeboro, NH Bayberry is looking for a reliable, responsible Closing Shift Lead to help lead the team at night and make sure the restaurant closes the right way. This role is all about being someone the team can count on. You'll help support the shift, keep things organized as the night winds down, and take real ownership of the close - from cash handling and end-of-day reporting to cleanliness, guest issues, staff support, and locking up the restaurant at the end of the night. We're looking for someone who is calm, mature, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility. What You'll Be Doing As Bayberry's Closing Shift Lead, you will help oversee the evening shift and make sure closing responsibilities are handled thoroughly and professionally.

Responsibilities include:

helping lead the shift and support the team at night keeping the team focused and helping things run smoothly during service resolving guest concerns calmly and professionally helping address staff issues in the moment and communicating them appropriately handling cash responsibilities accurately completing end-of-day reporting making sure the restaurant is clean, stocked, and properly reset overseeing closing side work securing the restaurant and locking doors at the end of the night What We're Looking For We want someone who: is dependable and responsible is comfortable taking ownership of the close communicates clearly and confidently stays organized and pays attention to detail can handle guest issues with professionalism works well with a team and leads by example helps create a positive, accountable shift environment Previous restaurant, café, or shift lead experience is a plus, but maturity, reliability, and good judgment matter just as much.
