Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, the ability to make quick decisions, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.###

Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during assigned shifts
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
• Assist in the preparation of food items and ensure consistent quality standards are met
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
• Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register operations
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving overall restaurant performance

Experience:

• Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
• Experience with interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
