Job Description Must be available 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is a part time, 10-month position (August-May). Position works an average of 34 hrs. per week. Hands-on position assisting the Lyceum Café Manager with daily production needs for our customers. Production of multiple specialty coffee drinks. Assist with ordering, stocking, monitoring food quality and sanitation of the facility. Maintain register and balancing of the cash drawer daily. Monitor student labor and hours. Assist manager with any scheduling needs. Part-time position includes prorated vacation leave, sick leave, and holiday pay only. Required Qualifications High School diploma. Previous barista experience. Food Safety certified or state certified in food protection/Level 2 or willing to certify. Efficient with math and Excel. Applicant must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Ashland University will not sponsor or take over sponsorship for an employment visa. Preferred Qualifications Provide a high level of customer service. Ability to problem solve on the fly. Physical Demands On your feet most of the day with the exception of the limited administrative duties.
