Shift Leader Position Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream leaders to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats and overseeing other employees. Experience/Qualifications:

1 year Management (preferred) 1 year Food service (preferred) Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities:

• Enforcing policies and procedures
• Following open and closing checklists
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address customer inquiries
• Ability to take, remember and execute orders quickly
• Oversee other employees and make helpful suggestions and improvements
• Ensure that all equipment including freezers, waffle maker, dipping cabinets, and other tools are properly maintained
• Ice cream inventory and labor control
• Greet customers and make orders
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment
• Put away stock
• Ensure staff is wearing appropriate work uniform
• Cleans and defrosts ice cream dipping cabinet on a weekly basis
• Scoops ice cream with accuracy and consistency, weighing scoops at the beginning of each shift and logging the data
• Makes milkshakes, malts, floats, and sundaes
• Stocks paper products as needed throughout the shift
• Responsible for the cleanliness of women's restrooms and keeping paper towels and toilet paper full
• Cashes out customers on the POS system
• Offer samples to customers and greet every customer that enters the building
• Has knowledge of ice cream menu and makes flavor suggestions or allergy recommendations as needed
• Closes the cash drawer and handles the deposit nightly
• Responsible for training staff
