Position Overview Ralph's American Grill, located within the Holiday Inn Roberts Centre and Roberts Centre Convention Centre, is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to support daily restaurant operations and help lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in food and beverage service, proven supervisory experience, and alcohol service experience. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, coaching team members, supporting operational goals, and maintaining compliance with all food and alcohol service standards. Position Type Full-Time Position Hourly Supervisor Role Flexible schedule required Evenings, weekends, and holidays required Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service execution. Lead by example and provide exceptional guest service. Support and oversee both Front of House and Back of House operations. Train, coach, and develop servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen team members. Assist with scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage. Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards. Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all state and company regulations. Handle guest concerns and resolve issues quickly and professionally. Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards throughout the restaurant. Support inventory management, ordering, food cost controls, and liquor controls. Collaborate with hotel, banquet, and culinary teams to support special events and group business. Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous restaurant supervisory or management experience required. Must have experience in both Front of House and Back of House operations. Alcohol service experience required . Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food service, and beverage service. Experience supervising servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff. Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and responsible alcohol service practices. Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory controls preferred. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Reliable attendance and professional appearance required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications Full-service restaurant experience. Food Safety Certification. Alcohol Service Certification. Experience with inventory management and cost controls. Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
