This role involves coordinating team activities, monitoring service quality, assisting with employee training, and ensuring that dining and service areas operate smoothly throughout each shift. The ideal candidate has strong communication and leadership skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant and café environment. Key Responsibilities Support daily restaurant and café operations. Coordinate staff assignments and workflow throughout each shift. Guide and support servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and café team members. Monitor food quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, and customer-service standards. Assist with training and onboarding new employees. Respond to customer questions, requests, and routine service concerns professionally. Help maintain efficient customer flow and timely order service. Monitor food, beverage, and restaurant supply levels. Assist with organizing, receiving, and restocking supplies as needed. Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked dining and service areas. Assist with opening, closing, and daily operational checklists. Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to management. Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures. Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth operations. Qualifications Previous restaurant, café, hospitality, or food-service experience. Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or team-lead experience is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills. Reliable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility. Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy restaurant environment. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant procedures is helpful. Ability to support and motivate team members. Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, and customer satisfaction. Professional and respectful approach to customers and coworkers.
