Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from takeout to dine-in, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to food safety protocols. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end. Assist with bussing tables, sanitation, and overall restaurant cleanliness to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments with a focus on efficiency. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales and managing transactions. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods without sacrificing quality. Effective communication skills for engaging with customers positively and working seamlessly with team members. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus but not required.
